The Costs of Hot Air vs. Buses

Seventh grade students at Hilbert Middle School have decided that they would like to habb.jpgtravel to school in hot-air balloons. The Hilbert School District would save the school some money by traveling in hot-air balloons. A balloon costs up to $15,000 dollars, whereas a school bus costs much more.

The other reason we picked the hot air balloon idea was because the school buses use a lot of gas and costs the school a lot of money. A student did research and found out that we could use methane gas from mega farms around the area. The methane gas would provide the hot air balloon with enough fuel to pick up students out in the country and would cost a lot less.
